Meet Dustin Haupt, DDS

Dr. Haupt is a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon and is honored to serve members of the Colorado community. He is dedicated to the quest for excellence in clinical care and patient experience.

Dr. Haupt graduated Magna Cum Laude from St. Louis University with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology.  He then received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Creighton University School of Dentistry in Omaha, Nebraska. While at Creighton, he received the Creighton University Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Achievement Award and graduated Magna Cum Laude.

Following dental school, Dr. Haupt completed his four year residency at the University of Illinois Chicago Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery program where he trained under leading academic surgeons and served as chief resident during his final year.  Throughout his training, Dr. Haupt covered multiple hospitals and clinics, including the University of Illinois Chicago, Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Lurie Children’s Hospital, and Jesse Brown VA Medical Center.

Immediately following residency, Dr. Haupt served as Division Officer in the U.S. Navy at CAPT James A. Lovell FHCC in Great Lakes, IL. While earning the rank of Lieutenant Commander, Dr. Haupt had the privilege of providing care to active duty service members, retired veterans, and recruit sailors.

After extensive training and experience in all aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery, his areas of expertise include outpatient sedation and IV sedation, complex dentoalveolar and dental implant surgery, all-on-four dental implants (teeth in a day), as well as corrective jaw surgery.

When he’s not in the office or hospital, Dr. Haupt enjoys spending time with his wife, Ana, and their energetic toddlers, Theo and Sophia. His favorite hobbies include trail running, golfing, and exploring his new favorite hobby, gardening.
